St. Jude Childrens Research Hospital visits the NYSE to recognize the organizations philanthropic initiative during this holiday season. In honor of the occasion, a local St. Jude patient rings The Opening Bell�, joined by his family and members of the St. Jude Wall Street Committee. On November 30, The New York Stock Exchange held its first Floor Brokers Charity Trading Day to unite customers, brokers and the Exchange for the purpose of helping children battling cancer and other deadly diseases at St. Jude. NYSE Euronext donated to St. Jude all of its net transaction fees for orders that day by floor brokers in NYSE and NYSE Amex securities. St. Jude Childrens Research Hospital St. Jude Children's Research Hospital is internationally recognized for its pioneering work in finding cures and saving children with cancer and other catastrophic diseases. St. Jude is the first and only pediatric cancer center to be designated as a Comprehensive Cancer Center by the National Cancer Institute.
